In China they no longer read "New York Times"

Currently in China, denied access to the site renowned publication "New York Times". The authorities did not give any explanation for their actions. Users wishing to get to the source, receives its inaccessibility.

Now the "Great Chinese firewall" includes hundreds of resources to which the Chinese do not have access. Among the blocked sites - sites BBC, "The Voice of America", Ming Pao News and Asiaweek. The authorities have reported that access to resources is closed because of violations of company-owners of Chinese laws. In particular, Chinese authorities annoying mention of Taiwan independence.

At the request of the Olympic Committee of the Chinese BBC site was unblocked during the Olympics. English version of the same resource was opened in March 2008.
