Addition to the B & O BeoVision family

Danish company Bang & Olufsen officially announced a new LCD TV HD - BeoVision 8. This model has a screen size of 40 inch fully meets all the requirements as specified in the Full HD (1080p). Her brief technical characteristics are as follows: a standard resolution of 1920 × 1080, response time 6 ms, and its brightness and kontrasnost of 500 nits and 3000:1. Apparently, in this case, namely the static, not dynamic contrast, as B & O is very high value on our reputation and does not try to wishful thinking. Among other features, you can select the refresh rate of 100 Hz and full compatibility with the system of home automation BeoLink from B & O.

Note that the BeoVision 8 has a very decent built-acoustics, which consists of the side speakers and a subwoofer, which is located at the bottom of the shell and is directed downwards. According to the B & O, this arrangement of the speakers creates a so-called "orchestral pit, and significantly improves the sound quality. TV supports all versions of TV standards PAL, SECAM and NTSC, but also has a digital DVB-HD tuner.

While in a press release from the B & O, the model is described as a model for entry-level, most likely, BeoVision 8 will be more expensive than similar solutions from other manufacturers. The point is that the B & O positions itself as a manufacturer of audio and video hi-end, and she did little cheap. Recall that in the delivery BeoVision 8 does not include remote control Beo4.
