Sony and Seiko team up in making LCD monitors

Sony buy at the beginning of Seiko Epson equipment necessary for the production of LCD monitors. Now two companies are in the process of negotiations on the development and design of the LCD displays a small and medium size. More deals are not yet known, but interesting that it would benefit, and Sony, and Epson.

Both companies are now in the process of restructuring activities associated with the production of LCD monitors. Thus, Seiko Epson announced its intention to close the plant in the central profile of Japan by the end of September and shift production to the west. Due to the possibility of working together, Epson Imaging will be able to minimize production costs and make more active use of the technology of amorphous silicon, which, of course, wins and Sony.
