Unique AV receivers from Onkyo

Family Onkyo AV receivers added three new models - SR607, SR507 and SR307, reports Electronista. If you believe a famous Japanese company, which is known as one of the leaders in the market of audio hi-end, this is the first in the world of AV receivers that are able to give sound of the third, vertical dimension.

It turns out that the above model supports Dolby Pro Logic IIz. Thus, with the help of home theater systems, based on their database, users can feel while watching a movie, as if the sounds coming from above. In addition, all of the above models support 7.2-channel audio, as well as technology and Dolby TrueHD DTS-HD Master Audio. It should be noted that the maximum power output is 90 W, and each model on the back panel has a port for connecting external devices such as docking stations for iPod and HD Radio tuners.

In terms of functionality models SR607 and SR507 are virtually identical. However, the latter does not have the function of Pro Logic IIz, and its power output is 80 rather than 90 Watts. With regard to model SR 307, this is the lowest model in the series, and it corresponds to only the standard version of the specification and Dolby DTS. Nevertheless, SR307 boasts three HDMI ports and an output of 65 Watts.

Among other design features of these models can provide technology support for xvColor, Audyssey 2EQ and game modes, from 4 pre settings, so they can provide not only a broader color coverage, but also a rich sound with a very high quality.

According to plan, model SR307 and 507 should be on sale as early as this month, but the supply of the highest model in the series, SR607, scheduled for April. Its recommended price - 599 U.S. dollars.
