CES'09: HP introduced the second generation panel computer TouchSmart

Many probably still remember a compact desktop system Touchsmart IQ506, which was issued more HP last year. This model is implemented in the form factor All-In-One, and this has caused excitement among users and professionals. The point is that the IQ506 is not be compact, but large touch screen. But the clock is ticking, and HP realized that it was time to release another, more powerful model.


As the HEXUS, at CES the famous American company presented a different model of family Touchsmart - DX9000. The system is based on Intel Centrino mobile platform 2 and has an arsenal of mobile processor Core 2 Duo P8400, 4 GB of RAM DDR2, hard disk drive 320 GB, Multi kardrider, vstrroenny module Wi-Fi, Gigabit LAN, two integrated speakers and an optical drive . As we have seen, DX9000 has the same configuration as that of a powerful mobile hi-end, all the more so that the graphical subsystem has integrated (Intel X4500HD). But perhaps, the similarity between them ends. The point is that this model not only reading, but also equipped with touch screens with a size of 22 inches on the diagonal and with a resolution of 1680 × 1050. The system will come with Windows Vista Business 64-bit and is aimed at corporate users. Nevertheless, DX9000 is an excellent home entertainment system using a personal computer. By design, this model is very similar to the latest model in the series - IQ506, which was issued as far back as last year, however, E's in DX9000 much more powerful.
