The Italian company Olidata, one of the leading manufacturers of personal computers and televisions to Apelninah, introduced a new line of mobile computers - Olidata Conte, at CES'09, writes Electronista.

This series is positioned as an alternative MacBook Air and has presented two models that have the same name, but differ among themselves. It should be noted that the design Olidata Conte is very similar to the MacBook Air, and moreover, they are built on the same Intel Core 2 Duo S. It is not clear what the nominal clock frequency of the data processors, it is possible that this is the Core 2 Duo S 1,6 GHz and 1.83 GHz. If the first model, which, incidentally, is considered the elite, have 13.3-inch display with a standard resolution of 1280 × 800, with LED back lighting, the second is the display of the same size, but with the permission of 1366 × 768, a ratio Screen - 16:9 rather than 16:10 as in the case of the first version. In addition, the first version even boasts a built module Wi-Fi, support for 3G (HSDPA-HSUPA), and even WiMAX (optional). As for the interface, unfortunately, because of the thin shell Olidata has only one port USB, one HDMI and audio output. Both versions are equipped with SSD drive with unspecified amount, 3 GB of memory and supports Bluetooth. If you believe Olidata, they can work offline to 4 hours of full battery, but if you prefer, you can buy a special battery, which can provide 7 hours of work without recharging.

As expected, both models will be on sale in Europe in May. By the way, they will be delivered to all regions of the world on the same pattern as the cheapest notebook Classmate PC from Intel. The estimated cost of Olidata Conte - 1325 U.S. dollars.
