As always, Kaspersky Labs has published on its website a monthly report on the activity of spammers in RuNet. Published final report is an analysis of the activities of spammers for December 2008.
It appears that the activity of spammers constantly increasing: in December, the total number of "garbage" letters was 81.4% of the total mail traffic. Most were letters to the proposals of various medicines, video genre XXX, tourism and education.
Interestingly, the Russian-speaking sector of the Internet the most popular was also the topic of economic crisis.
