ASUS multimedia notebook series


ASUS presented a new multimedia notebook series K: K40IJ, K40IN, K50AB, K51AB, K50IJ and K70IO. The first two models have a diagonal of 14 inches, 50 triple-X model has a diagonal of 15.6 inches, and K70IO - 17.3 inches. K40IJ and K40IN use the Core 2 processor platforms Intel GL40 Express or NVIDIA MCP75L respectively. Number of RAM-memory can be expanded up to 4GB, and disk space - up to 320GB. Graphics provided by Intel GMA 4500M video in K40IJ or NVIDIA GeForce G102M with 256MB video memory in K40IN. Also notbuki have built-writing DVD-drive and 0.3-and 1.3-мегапиксельные webcam, respectively.

Three models have the K50 screen resolution 1366 × 768. Start K50IJ model uses a Core 2 processor and an embedded video GMA 4500M. K51AB and K50AB use AMD Puma platform and equipped with video ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4860 with 1GB of memory. K70IO (pictured) has a screen resolution 1600 × 900 and uses the Intel Core 2-compatible chipset MCP79d and equipped with a video card NVIDIA GeForce 120M with 1GB of graphics memory. Also, the flagship of K-series is equipped with 4GB of RAM, 320Gb hard drive, writes DVD-drive and two web cameras: VGA and 1.3-megapixel. All models have built in speakers Altec Lansing. On the price and delivery dates so far nothing is known.
