YouTube will block all the British music videos

YouTube announced their intention to remove all of the professional music videos made in the UK. The point is that Google Inc. was not able to renew the contract with national British record label PRS - as always, the problem of money. Google and the RPS have been unable to agree on a scheme of partition of profit derived from the display of the clips on the service YouTube.

YouTube representatives have reported that understands how "shocking" such action may appear in the eyes of others, although most of YouTube, in this case does not depend. At the same time, the head of PRS Steve Porter is very dissatisfied with this course of affairs. "This step punishes primarily British audience and the musicians, whose interests we defend. Google told us that they are making this move, as want to pay for impressions, much less than now. The company is not willing to pay for content, and even if there is traffic to YouTube in the last year has grown decently, "- said Porter.

It seems that Google finds fault in the entire PRS, but the PRS is guilty corporation Google. The truth is, Google believes that the financial side of the issue - not the only problem that led to such conflicts. "Our recent collaboration has shown that the interests of the parties more and more away, it was easier to remove content, than to continue negotiations with the PRS", - said Patrick Walker.

Currently, Google is going to invite all the British music companies to cooperate, that's only this cooperation will bypass PRS.
