Companies Skype and Nokia entered into a cooperation agreement

Companies Skype and Nokia announced the conclusion of the contract to provide software for the new Skype phones and the Finnish manufacturer. The first gadget, which will be installed from the VoIP application Skype, will be Nokia N97. Interestingly, the software from Skype will be partially integrated with the software of the Nokia.

For example, the functionality of Skype will be enhanced by combining this application with a list of contacts, Nokia N97 - a result of contacts will appear in the network, plus they can use to send SMS-messages through a service from Skype.

Owners of mobile phones with the Skype software will also be available to the service free voice calls between subscribers of Skype, as well as service and SkypeOut, which allows calls to city and mobile phones at low rates.

Currently, mobile version of IP-telephony service Skype from working for more than 50 different models of mobile devices from Motorola, Nokia, Samsung and Sony Ericsson with support for Java.
