Sharp presented a special "green" LCD panel

As it became known today, the ranks of LCD TVs from Sharp AQUOS D added three new models with screen sizes of 32, 26 and 20 inches. These models are categorized as HD Ready, as their standard definition is only 1366 × 768 rather than 1920 × 1080 (1080p - Full HD). As for the other technical characteristics, it is known only that the 32-inch model has a 3000:1 contrast. A 26 - and 20-inch models of the figure in half - 1500:1.

Note that the main feature of the new models is extremely low power consumption. According to Sharp, 32-inch model consumes only 60 Watts. For comparison, the model with the same size screen, but from the previous generation does not consume less than 66 Watts. In addition, new items can still boast a built CD player that can work in a non-stop for 60 thousand hours. It is also worth noting that they are made of materials.

Unfortunately, the cost and availability of the new television series AQUOS D has not yet been reported, but most likely we will know about it very soon.
