Toshiba chose Dragonsnap


As it became known, Toshiba today officially presented its first smartphone based on the platform Dragonsnap from Qualcomm - TG01. The debut of this model took place in London, and admitted as members of Toshiba UK, they were warned about it until shortly before that. Apparently, this event held in conjunction with the exhibition Mobile World Congress 2009, which opened in Barcelona, Spain, in the middle of this month.

According to Toshiba, this model may well change the course of development of the industry of mobile communications. By the way, is the world's first commercial product, which was built on the platform Snapdragon from Qualcomm. Moreover, at this moment is the only smartphone in the world that can boast of a processor with a nominal 1 GHz. As shown in the photo, TG01 has a fairly large touch display with a size of 4.1 inches and has a very small thickness (9.9 mm). Data entry can be done through the virtual keyboard on the screen.
