Now Garmin, and ASUS will release Nuviphone together


As it became known, ASUS and Garmin today announced the creation of a strategic alliance to develop and manufacture smartphones Nuviphone. The idea, the first result of joint work and Garmin ASUS, model Nuviphone G60, will be demonstrated at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2009, which will be held in Barcelona, Spain, from 16 to 19 February this year.

By the way, from now on all models of the series Nuviphone, starting with the G60, will be produced under the brand Garmin-ASUS. As expected, Nuviphone G60 will be on sale in the first half of this year. According to preliminary data, the mobile device has a 3.5-inch touch screen, and of course, a module built GPS, but also has some features characteristic of the GPS navigators hi-end of Garmin. As we know, the American company took the first line in the manufacturing of GPS navigators, and ASUS has a pretty solid experience in the development and production of smart phones on the platform of Windows Mobile.
