The preliminary version of Firefox Mobile

Good news for fans of software community, Mozilla: a preliminary version of the browser Firefox Mobile, better known as Fennec, finally released and ready for download. However, it is not even the alpha version, a pre-alpha.

Issued assembling more community-oriented software developers and testers, rather than to ordinary users. Presented Fennec assembly does not include even some basic features for Firefox. For example, there is no mechanism for automatic updates, no support for extensions. One can not also use the virtual keyboard, which is an additional inconvenience for the owners of gadgets with touch screens.

Work on the mobile version of Firefox is already more than a year and a half, and only now becoming clear features of Fennec mobile browser. Community representatives have announced that the final version of the browser will be built a system that allows to easily immoderate most of the data from the "adult" versions of Firefox, including bookmarks, log of visited resources, as well as the data to fill the forms. It is possible that the transfer of saved passwords will also be possible.

The developers promise that the final version of Fennec will support the expansion, and architecture support the expansion of the mobile version will have much in common with a similar mechanism in Mozilla Firefox.
